edit: Looks like extracting the pfSense deployed client exe gives you a config folder and two .exes. Running the install, then post install exe silently one after another was successful. Big shoutout to /u/Solkre over in the r/PFSENSE subreddit. Hopefully this helps someone else in the future :)
